Hooked Inc: Fisher Tycoon is a fun and relaxing game, but there’s different ways to increase your fishing skill, so let’s get started with our Hooked Inc: Fisher Tycoon cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Watch for the big schools!

Every so often a HUGE school of fish will swim by your boat. This is your chance to make the big bucks! Swipe like crazy through the school to catch as many of the fish as you can.

Try to use small swipes so that your finger motion is almost like you’re scribbling in one spot to get as many fish as possible. The school moves through the screen fast so you gotta be even faster!

Come back often!

Hooked Inc: Fisher Tycoon is somewhat of an idle game where your crew will generate money for you when you have the game closed. The problem with this is that the money output is very low early on, and your crew has a time cap.

After a certain amount of time has passed and you haven’t checked in, your crew will stop generating money. This money is pretty negligible early on, but if you want to stay on top of it be sure to check in often.

Grab those packages!

We feel it’s much more efficient to just keep the game open and collect fish on your downtime. This way you won’t miss any packages! Occasionally a package will spawn and float down the ocean.

These packages contain a sweet amount of money, so be sure not to the miss them. You don’t need to wrangle or wrestle with them either – just swipe or tap on them to collect them!

Sometimes packages will be chests instead. These rare chests contain precious gems instead of the regular coins. You have to watch a short advertisement before you can open them, but we highly recommend you do. You’ll need as many gems as you can get to unlock additional crew members.

Fight the big fish!

Even rarer than the packages are the big fish sightings! Once in a blue moon the sky will go dark and a massive shadow will appear. These big fish are unique, rare catches that must be wrangled before they can be caught.

Tap on the fish’s shadow to damage it! You have to be quick because these guys have a lot of health. Don’t swipe – it takes too long. Just tap away as fast as possible!

Don’t forget your dailies!

Tapping the little anchor button at the bottom right corner of the screen brings up a side menu. In this menu you’ll find the Lucky Wheel, which you can spin for free once a day.

Be sure to do this before you start playing, as it’ll provide you with a temporary earnings bonus all the way from 2x to 4x! If you’re really lucky, all of your cash earnings will be quadrupled for a couple of hours!

In addition to that, you can also collect you daily gift here. Daily Gifts are pretty awesome – they reward you with gems! Be sure not to miss out on your daily gifts as you’ll need the gems for more crew members.

That’s all for Hooked Inc: Fisher Tycoon. If you’ve got any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
