Synthesis is a staple feature in Atelier Ryza 3 that players use to make healing and other items that aid Ryza on her journey. The Synthesis feature consists of a few components, and one of them is Traits, which you must know about as it allows you to add special effects to any synthesized item, increasing their efficacy.
How Do Traits Work in Atelier Ryza 3?
Traits are special properties of an ingredient that you can transfer to a synthesized item in Atelier Ryza 3 using the Trait Loop that appears in the synthesis process.
In other words, Trait Loop is one of the Material Loops in Atelier Ryza 3 in which you can add ingredients with special traits and then level them up by adding more ingredients. Once you accumulate a certain amount of elemental values, you can transfer the Traits from the Trait Loop to the synthesized item.
In short, add items in the Effect field to unlock Trait Loop, add materials with Traints, and then transfer the Trait to get a more powerful version of the item you are synthesizing.
