Idol Showdown Tier List—Playable Characters
In this ranking, we have focused on how characters perform in fights in general. While all idols have their benefits and could do well in a fight depending on the opponent, we strived to identify those that would be a surefire choice in any match—whether you’re a beginner or a more advanced player.
Of course, your list might look a little bit different as it all comes down to what your personal preferences are, but here’s how we ranked all playable characters in Idol Showdown.
Tier | Characters |
---|---|
S | Botan Shishiro |
A | Aki Rosenthal, Ayame Nakiri, Suisei Hoshimachi |
B | Fubuki Shirakami, Korone Inugami |
C | Coco Kiryu |
D | Sora Tokino |
We chose Botan Shishiro as the best of the best due to her versatility. While she may look like the perfect choice for ranged combat, she can do serious damage from up close as well thanks to her numerous tools and weapons. And even though some other idols may look stronger than Botan, you can do wonders with her regardless of your expertise level in the game, which makes this character the perfect go-to for anyone.
Idol Showdown Tier List of Selectable Assists
Playable idols are not where the fun stops in Idol Showdown. If your Superchat Meter or Star Meter allows, you can call additional characters into the fight as help. Here’s how we ranked all assist options.
Tier | Characters |
---|---|
S | Kanata Amane |
A | Iroha Kazama, Kiara Takanashi |
B | Marine Houshou, Mio Ookami |
C | Amelia Watson, Miko Sakura, Roboco |
D | Risu Ayunda |
We thoroughly enjoyed Kanata Amane’s 50kg Grip special move with 201 Damage and unblockable guard, but any of these assists can help you significantly in a fight with their cool skills.
