If you enjoy the idea of a relaxed farming game but find you aren’t into the cutesy imagery of Stardew Valley and Story of Seasons, we have the answer. Farming Simulator has all those aspects but simplified. Plus, you get to drive equipment which is always fun. The newest version, Farming Simulator 23, has finally launched and is here with tons of brand news features to explore. But is it available on your console of choice? This is all platforms for Farming Simulator 23.
Farming Simulator 23 Consoles
RELATED: All Confirmed Things Coming to Farming Simulator 23
Right now, your options for consoles are pretty limited. Normally, the games do launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. This has definitely been the case with the past few games. However, players were surprised when Farming Simulator 23 was only available on Nintendo Switch and Mobile.
Where Is The PC Version Of Farming Simulator 23
People who enjoyed using modding on Farming Simulator 21 and 22 may find this a letdown. In fact, if you’ve been a fan of the series for a while, you’ll love that the modding community is quite involved with the game. We don’t know the specific reason why there’s no PC version, but it’s possible that it will launch later on. Farming Simulator 22 had some technical issues, so it’s possible that developing it for a console may have fixed those, or even that the PC version is still in development.
Farming Simulator 23 Switch Vs Mobile
If you plan to play Farming Simulator 23 and can’t decide between a Switch or the mobile version, we’d recommend the Switch one. When tested, the mobile one was fine, but since Farming Simulator 23 follows a graphics heavy semi open-world format, most mobile devices just cannot handle it. The mobile version constantly caused overheating and would freeze often. It is of course much less expensive than the Switch version but whether the save is worth it is debatable.
