When it comes to potions, Halls of Torment takes a relatively new approach as, unlike other RPGs where you use potions to replenish HP, increase DEF, and gain other buffs, the potions in this game govern over the Traits.
In other words, potions are consumable items in Halls of Torment that players can use to reroll traits, memorize traits to guarantee their appearance in the next level up, banish a trait, and apply the effects of a trait twice.
Since Traits play a significant role in powering up your character while helping you tackle the different stages and overall content available in Halls of Torment, you must know how to get all potions in the game. So keep reading our guide.

How to Get Potions in Halls of Torment
To get potions in Halls of Torment, you must first unlock the Cupbearer NPC. You can unlock him by completing the quest called The Cupbearer, where you enter Forgotten Viaduct and rescue him.
Once that is done, you get access to the first potion, Strong Wine, whereas the remaining ones can be unlocked by finding some specific herbs.
Once you have unlocked the potions by gathering the required herbs, a single unit of that potion will automatically be available at the start of a round, whereas to get more, you must collect Bottles found in the different stages.
That concludes our guide on how to get potions in Halls of Torment. For more guides on the game, check out our dedicated Guides section.
