Event Pokemon

For the duration of the event, different kinds of wild Ghost Pokemon will be appearing on the map in higher quantities. This includes:

• Shuppet
• Gastly
• Litwick
• Phantump
• Misdreavus
• Drifloon
• Haunter

Extra Bonuses

• Double the candy for hatched eggs
• Shiny Phantump
• Extra candy for executing special throws
• Additional xl candy if you’re at trainer level thirty-one or over

All Field Research Tasks

If you want to get Greavard, just do the free tasks, no need to get the paid pass. This event has plenty of free quests to do, including Field Research. To unlock, all you have to do is spin Pokestops. Here are all the tasks.

• Make five Great Throws – Misdreavus Encounter
• Spin five Pokestops or Gyms – Phantump Encounter
• Evolve one Ghost Pokemon – Phantump Encounter
• Transfer five Ghost Pokemon – Ten Misdreavus Candy
• Take three different snapshots of Ghost Pokemon – Ten Pokeballs

Greavard Tasks Part One

• Capture five Ghost Pokemon – 1000 stardust
• Capture ten Ghost Pokemon – 1500 XP
• Capture fifteen Ghost Pokemon – 1000 stardust
• Completion reward: Twenty-Five Poke Balls, 1000 stardust, and a Greavard encounter

Greavard Tasks Part Two

• Take one snapshot of a Ghost Pokemon – 1500 stardust
• Capture ten Ghost Pokemon – 2000 XP
• Capture fifteen Ghost Pokemon – 1500 stardust
• Capture twenty Ghost Pokemon – three Pinap berries
• Completion reward: Twenty Great Balls, 1000 stardust, and a Greavard encounter

Greavard Tasks Part Three

• Take two snapshots of Ghost Pokemon – 2000 stardust
• Capture twenty-five Ghost Pokemon – 2000 XP
• Capture one Ghost Pokemon – 2000 stardust
• Completion reward: Five Ultra Balls, Five Pinap berries, and a Greavard encounter

Paid Timed Research Tasks

Those were the free tasks, but now you might be wondering – are the paid tasks truly worth it? That really depends on what you want, the rewards of the paid ones are mainly poke balls and extra Phantump encounters. Unless you’re looking to get extra Phantumps to evolve yours into Trevenant, you won’t get much out of it.
