Final Fantasy IV: The After Years Releasing Next Month On iOS

The iOS version of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is going to be released soon in the West, as announced today by Square Enix.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is the sequel to Final Fantasy IV, a classic Final Fantasy game which has recently received a full 3D remake.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years takes place a few years after the ending of the first game. All the playable characters of the first game will come back in the sequel, together with a few new ones like Ceodore, Cecil and Rosa’s son and prince of Baron.

The iOS version of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is going to be different from the Psp and Wii versions of the game, released a few years ago.

This new version of the game is going to feature full 3D graphics. Takeshi Tokita, the game’s producer, has revealed that The After Years iOS is based on the Final Fantasy IV remake, re-using many of its assets. At the same time there are going to be new characters and location not seen in the original game.

To better promote the game’s release, Square Enix is currently offering Final Fantasy IV for a reduced price. Make sure to buy the game to experience one of the best Final Fantasy game ever released.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years will be released sometime during November on the App Store. The game will be playable on both iPhone and iPad.
