Complete the missions!

Missions will help you with progression if you’re ever unsure of what to work towards next. Your recommend mission will always be shown at the top of the screen, but you can complete them in any order you wish. Always be working towards a mission so you can get those sweet resources as rewards!

Base Missions are split into three different categories. Economy missions deal with improving your base’s facilities and districts. Completing economy missions will increase your resource generation and capacity, troop recruitment speed, and more.

Military missions deal with handling the enemy and your base’s defenses. These missions will require you to train certain units, take out a number of enemy bases, and more. Once you start fighting in the world you’ll complete these more easily.

Bring the right units for the job!

When you’re about to attack another player or enemy base, be sure that your formation is good and you’re bringing the correct units. For example, the basic Rifleman is good against unmanned light vehicles. You’ll need to make sure your units have the advantage over your enemy… and you can also simply outnumber them with huge armies!

Keep researching!

Once you unlock the Scientific District, you’ll be able to research new passive abilities. Much like the missions, the research projects are divided into three categories: economy, military, and growth. Economy research will provide you with faster resource generation, increased resource cap, and more.

Military research will provide you with increased stats for your units, such as more health, armor, firepower, and more. If you want to be an opposing force in the battle for the world, you’ll need to make sure you invest some research into military.

Finally, growth research gives you a bit of utility. We actually recommend getting the first research – “Mechanized Builders” – as soon as possible. This permanently decreases build times on all buildings, so it’ll save you a lot of time.

Don’t forget about your General skills!

In addition to your research skills, you also have General skills. These skills come from your General and they function just like research projects. However, you only need to invest a skill point into them to activate them. Skill points are acquired through ranking up, so make sure you spend your points in either two trees.
