Paladins Strike is fast-paced and enjoyable MOBA experience, and we highly recommend it if you’re a fan of the genre. Without further ado, let’s get started with our Paladins Strike cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Class breakdown!

All of the champions in Paladins Strike belong to a “type”. These types help you define your role in the team and help you balance the team out.

Frontline champions are the ones that, true to their name, rush into battle headfirst with their team behind them. Packing lots of health and defensive abilities, frontline champions are usually the one’s to start a fight and protect their teammates.

Damage champions are straightforward damage dealers. They have relatively simple abilities that deal damage to their opponents.

Flank champions are like damage champions, specializing in high burst damage, but they also have ways to sneak around the enemy team to ambush them. Flank champions can provide openings for the rest of the time to capitalize on, so they’re important!

Support champions specialize in healing and CC (crowd control) for their team. They can keep the team up in the heat of battle and they can also lockdown enemies for their teammates to finish off. Supports are the backbone of any team and they are an absolute must!

Round out your team!

As per the norm for MOBA-style games, champions are split into categories that reflect their strengths. When you’re drafting champions in the pre-game, try to be the better player and round out your team. This means that if you see a lot of damage champions being selected, why not play as a frontline or support?

You may not always be able to play the champions you want, but this is exactly why we recommend trying to find a champion you like that’s in each category. That way you have all your bases covered! Bottom line is that you should try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to champion select.

Use cores to power up!

Eventually you’ll start earning rune chests from the sign-in bonuses and match bonuses. Runes come in three different colors: red, green, and blue. Each champion has their own individual rune page that can be filled to power them up.

Red runes increase the champion’s damage. Green runes increase their maximum health. Blue runes offer some sort of utility, and it differs from champion to champion. They can increase ult charge rate, movement speed, cooldown reduction, etc.

As mentioned, you’ll get runes randomly from rune chests. You must use character-specific runes to upgrade your champions, but every so often you’ll find rare universal runes. These runes can be used on ANY champion on ANY color, making them incredibly helpful. Use them wisely – they’re super rare and you won’t come by them often!

Check the shop!

If you’re looking for a specific champion’s runes, take a peek in the shop. You can spend gold here to buy chests, and they change every day. Sometimes you can buy class chests, i.e. a chest that has runes only for support champions. You can even buy character-specific chests. Take a look at the schedule to see what chests will be available in the next coming days, and prepare accordingly.

Choose talents accordingly!

Each champions has a choice between two talents once they reach a certain level in battle. Talents provide useful passive abilities like reduced cooldowns, faster movement speed, reduced CC duration, and so forth. While it’s okay to have your favorite talents, you should also try to consider the current battle situation.

For example, let’s say you’re getting locked down too much. Try going for that reduced CC talent instead of the other choice this time. That’s just one example – use your own discretion when deciding on talents. They have the potential to make or break the match!

General battle tips!

Once your team is set and your runes are upgraded, it’s time to fight. Remember these tips to get the advantage over the enemy team!

  • Use your ults together! Mindlessly activating your ult whenever it’s fully charged is a good way to waste an opportunity. Multiple ults from your team is a great way to push a team fight in your favor, so time ults wisely!
  • Take advantage of the bushes lying around the arenas. You’re completely invisible as long as you don’t attack, so you can get the jump on unsuspecting enemies. If things are looking dire and you’re trying to escape, you can also use bushes to confuse and hopefully lose your enemies.
  • Remember that your health automatically regenerates if you stay out of combat for a few seconds. Sometimes it’s better to just back off and let the enemy win for a moment to regain your health back. Taking a few seconds off from battle is usually much better than dying and having to wait for the long respawn timers.
