And if you have any friend playing the Epic Games’ developed title on PlayStation 4, you will be able to play with them soon.

Today, a Fortnite PlayStation 4 cross-platform open beta has been launched worldwide, with Sony using the testing phase to see how it plays out. Cross-platform play will also be enabled for other, select third-party titles.

Minecraft may be out of the question, sadly, as it requires an Xbox login, but one can always dream that the game will bring every console and hardware manufacturer together.

Back in July, a major addition has come to Fortnite thanks to patch 4.5, Playground Mode. In this mode, 4 players are dropped into an empty island and have free resources to build anything they want. The patch also added more camera tools, emotes, and scene tools to record some very cinematic footage.

Fortnite is now available worldwide on iOS and Android devices as well as on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Never heard of Fortnite? You can learn more about the game by checking out Luciano’s review.
