We are, officially, one week closer to Halloween but fortunately the flood of ghosts and witches and pumpkins hasn’t peaked yet. It will surely happen this week – but until then, we must make sure that we haven’t missed any of last week’s great stories in the mobile gaming world.
We’re starting to do this feature quite regularly now (it’s out 4th week in a row – yay!) and we’re not only sharing news and articles from Touch Tap Play, but other websites as well because we believe it’s better when you have options and high quality articles to choose from.
With these things in mind, let’s see some of the top stories of the past week!
Since I am a huge Game of Thrones fan – like most of the people I know – I was extremely happy to hear that one of my favorite mobile games, Reigns, got the GoT treatment. Reigns: Game of Thrones is available on mobile and if you haven’t purchased it yet, you should make sure to do so ASAP!
And since it’s decision making we’re talking about, this can get mixed with basically any well known movie or franchise out there. So hopefully there will be more Reigns spin-offs in the near or far future. Pocket Gamer already has some cool ideas and created a list of other franchises that should get the Reigns treatment.
But it’s not just Reigns and Game of Thrones that make a great pair! The classic Pac Man and Wreck It Ralph are also a match made in heaven – even though surprisingly so – as Pac-Man: Ralph Breaks the Maze shows us.
And if that’s not your type of game, then you’ll definitely love the upcoming mobile version of the highly popular and insanely amazing Stardew Valley. The original has been out for quite some time now, but this doesn’t mean that we don’t have all the reasons in the world to be excited about its upcoming release on mobile. And if you need a few reasons more, Emily Sowden explains on 148 Apps why she’s looking forward to Stardew Valley on mobile.
This is definitely a game your kids could play, if they’re not too young like mine who only plays endless runners and beats my high scores on a daily basis. But if you have a child that you’d like to surprise with a brand new mobile game, App Spy’s Harry Slater has a list of the best iPhone games for kids right now. I’m sure you’ll enjoy playing them too!
That if you’re not already spending most of your time in the newly released Dragalia Lost, trying to become the master of everything. It’s going to be hard, but we’re making your life easier with our complete guide to dragons in the game.
And we’re wrapping things up with a highly unexpected announcement of a brand new mobile game. We’re talking about a new Tony Hawk game which is coming soon-ish. There are no details on that, apart from the fact that a new game is coming sometime soon… but that’s enough for me and fellow Tony Hawk fans to be excited, right?
And this is it! Our round-up is now complete and you can safely move on to this week’s news and goodies. And prepare for a ton of Halloween-related content!
