This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

If you want to just relax and enjoy a cool and simplistic game, Hoop Smash will deliver just that! But if you are like me and it gets you pretty tilted when failing, then these Hoop Smash tips and tricks will help you keep your cool while also passing the levels with ease!

One thing to keep in mind when playing Hoop Smash is stay cool! Keep a cool head and don’t double-tap unless you are willing to take on the risk of failing! Thus being said, let’s dive right into our Hoop Smash tips and tricks!

Do NOT double-tap

What is worse than losing all your progress because of a greedy move? Losing all the progress at the last hoop because of a greedy move!

Avoid double-tapping because not all circles move at the same speed, so unless you spent a good amount of time figuring out their pattern and knowing exactly how to react, then do not double-tap because the character (or object, call it what you want) you play with is going to crash.

Think in advance

Plan ahead your moves, spend a few seconds following the hoop patterns and when you think you can combo, go ahead! Pulling a combo will greatly increase your score and progress through the level, because each following combo move is worth a lot more than the previous.

This is especially good if you are looking to unlock some skins for your character (object). They will make the game more fun and entertaining, so make sure you combo a lot!

Revive if you died (by watching an ad)

If you’re at one of those tough levels, it might happen to you too. Dying is no problem since you can just revive by watching an ad. That’s a great way to ensure you don’t lose the progress, because honestly, who would like to go through a hundred hoops and fail?

Once you died, all you need to remember is to not die again, because in one level you can not revive twice. That’s a bummer, but it keeps the game fair and square (or round in this case). So if you haven’t progressed a lot and you died, I suggest not bothering with it because it will take more time watching an ad than passive that stage.

If you are in a tough level, however, and it took you a great deal of time and nerves to progress through a certain stage, if you died after, it’s best you watch that ad and revive since the time spent for watching the ad will be worth it.

Watch closely

If you haven’t noticed yet, the object you play with leaves a round mark where it falls. You can use this round mark to count if (or not) you can pass through a hoop. The best thing to remember here, is that if your object is more than half inside the hoop, it will count as a pass, else, if it is halfway out, you will crash and die.

Keep a close look at this because it can help you make tons of combos too!

Unlock more skins

This is a fun way to customize your object, so if you want to play as a banana or  doughnut, go right ahead and do the required thing to unlock it. You might have to revive a few times to unlock one, pass through a few hoops at once or even watch a certain number of ads. So if you are like me and seek to collect all unlockable items, go dive right in!

Don’t like ads?

Even if they might be useful at times, the amount of ads gets annoying after you see the same one every level. To turn them off, you can opt for that in-game option and pay a few bucks. The revive ads and the ones for missions won’t be removed, so worry not!

Don’t wait for the ball to come back down

You don’t have to wait for the ball to be close to the surface to tap it, since it will auto-smash once you tap. So if you thought that the physics matter and this game is much more difficult, you might be wrong.

You can tap the ball anytime you want to make it go through, so you don’t have to wait until it bounces and comes back down.
