When a game tells you to “Escape the Titanic,” you clearly know that it’s a very difficult task you’ll have to complete, but I am sure that nothing will keep you away from taking on the challenge. Especially when we’re talking about an adventure/escape game with a beautiful design, an interesting approach to the genre and inventive, smart and rarely frustrating puzzles.
Story-wise, the title says it all about this game: you’re on the Titanic which is starting to sink and you must make it from your room all the way to the rescue boats and make sure that you’re one of the few survivors. In order to do this, you will complete “scenes” – these scenes being actual puzzles, ranging from finding your way though a maze to more complex ones where you need to find patterns and think outside of the box.
The concept has been used in the past with more or less success by other developers, but in Escape the Titanic all things seem to click perfectly. We have a huge diversity of puzzles to solve using the touch screen abilities of our iPhones or iPads and we also have a charming level design to go hand in hand with our adventure.
The puzzles are generally short and of increasing difficulty as you get closer and closer to the finish line, but I am sure you will gladly take on the challenge and have a great time doing your best to complete the game.
Especially if you are a fan of escape the room games and nice adventures, Escape the Titanic is a must play for you – completely free of charge.
