Dragons: Titan Uprising is not too different from other monster-collecting match-3 puzzle RPGs, so experience in the genre is good, but do not worry if you are unfamiliar – we are here with our Dragons: Titan Uprising cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Use your free premium dragon ticket!

If you downloaded the game right away upon launch, you will find that there is a free premium summon ticket waiting for you in your gift box. The ticket is good for one Premium Dragon Draft, so make sure you claim it right away. You can start the game off with at least a 3-star dragon, which will help immensely.

General battle tips!

When you match elements, they will fire off immediately towards the column they are in. This means that there is no automatic targeting – you will need to match elements underneath the dragons you want to hit. This can be helpful or hindering depending on what you are trying to hit, but just keep this in mind as you are matching.

As always, special pieces that are created when you match four or more elements are incredibly helpful, especially due to how targeting works in this game. The more coverage you have over the board, the more damage you can dish out to groups of dragons. Always be on the look out to make more special pieces and take your time – there is no rush!

Keep hatching new dragons!

Aside from free summons, the only other way to obtain new dragons is to hatch them from the eggs you recover on your journey. Getting new dragons is always a good thing even if you get low rarity dragons, as you can simply use them for training up your favorite dragons. Dragons do not get experience naturally in this game, and the only way they can level up is through using existing dragons.

Use the right dragons for the job!

Each dragon has an elemental affinity that is stronger and weaker against certain types. When you are heading into a level, you can see the elemental triangle at the top left corner of the screen. Red dragons beat green dragons, and greens beat out the blue dragons whereas blue beats red dragons. Yellow and purple dragons beat out each other.

You can see every single dragon you are going up against in the level preview, and you can even see their elements, so you can prepare accordingly. There is even a suggested element at the top right corner of the screen, but it is up to you if you want to listen to it.

Find a dragon with a heal ability!

All new players will start the game off with Arctic Rumblehorn, a 1-star blue dragon. His stats are not remarkable as per the course for a 1-star dragon, but his abililty heals the dragon with the lowest health on the team, making him very valuable. Early on your dragons do not have that much health, so you will need to keep an eye on them.

If you find a higher rarity dragon with a healing ability, be sure to include them on your team. You should always have at least one dragon with this kind of ability to ensure the lifespan of your team!
