So if you want to know exactly who are the soldiers to keep an eye on, then you’ve come to the right place! By now you should probably have the basics down for all the best starting heroes, else take a look at our article about the best units to have at the beginning

After getting that all cleared out, you can now focus on the best soldier setup for Metal Slug Infinity! Let’s get started, shall we?

Metal Slug Infinity – Best soldier setup for starting the game (early game)

As mentioned in our previous article, we won’t go too much into detail about it, but we will write it down for you just in case you are still wondering.

The setups here I consider to be best for early game because they don’t require a lot of hero shards investment and upgrades and they can be acquired relatively easy. It still depends on you scouting the shop for all the newest offers and refreshing the old ones, but overall they don’t need to be 5 stars to reach super high levels.

Setup 1: Mars People, Mummy Fio, Guerrilla, Fat Nadia, Madoka Aikawa, Dog Mummy.

This setup will focus mostly on the battle speed increase, which is given by 2 star Madoka Aikawa, Fat Nadia and Guerrilla. They shouldn’t be too hard to acquire, but if you can’t get all of them early game you can also swap some out for other units which increase the damage dealt or reduce the spawn cooldown of Slugs.

This setup is mostly for clearing the stages fast and is ideal for early game because the first stages are relatively easy to pass.

Setup 2: Marco-H, Mummy Fio, Bazooka Soldier, Arabian Soldier, Fio-2H, Trevor (or Eri, depends which you get first).

The second setup I have chosen will rely mostly on boosting the damage and the slug duration. They also focus on reducing the slug spawn cooldown because they all go hand in hand basically.

This setup could work well with other soldiers in the end game too, once you have made better heroes 5 stars and use them for the better, upgraded buffs.

Metal Slug Infinity – Best soldier setup for end game

Now here I will write the best team setups for end game – the units which work best as fully upgraded or 5 stars, taking full advantage of the complete buffs they provide to the team.

Setup 1: Zombie Marco, Tarma-C, Nadia, Fat Nadia, Madoka Aikawa, Fio-2H

This team will rely on mostly buffing up the Attack of the Regular Army with the occasional chance to warp given by Nadia and the battle speed buff given by Madoka Aikawa. It is a full attack setup which I consider super powerful especially for quickly defeating any enemy that may occur.

Setup 2: Invader, Mummy, Zombie (Fattish Man), Tiny UFO Type: A, Dog Mummy, Chowmein-Conga

The second setup is almost as powerful as the first one, and it relies on the Another Force units. It also boosts the Slugs, so I guess it kinda evens out the first setup when you take that into consideration.

Setup 3: Chowmein-Conga, Trevor, Fat Nadia, Nadia, Fio-2H, Amadeus Soldier

This third setup could work very well as it relies mostly on all heroes that boost the Slugs. You can swap them out amongst them to pick the best ones (or the ones that you have acquired) but keep in mind that you need to take into consideration all of the buffs, because this is end game!
