Now you probably aren’t too familiar with Wild West base builder games, because there are not a whole lot of them, but this one did it! The game will place you in the right atmosphere to experience all that people were feeling back in the day, from visiting the salons to upgrading the Town Hall, you will do it all.

But in order to produce a lot of resources and upgrade everything much sooner, we have put together a complete game guide to help you. So without further ado, let us dive right into the West of Glory tips and tricks right here below to develop a powerful and advanced town!

Follow the quests and tasks

The game is going to place you right into the Wild West world where you, the Sheriff, are tasked to make the Town much more powerful, and if you want to do that just right, then let me tell you that the right way to go about this is to start by following the tasks that the game gives you.

The quick tasks can be found in the bottom left side of the screen. There you will see that they will have a big yellow exclamation mark if they are not completed, and a green gift box if you have completed them. Tap on the exclamation mark to be directed towards the quest’s objective.

I suggest that you try and complete the tasks as the game suggests here, because unlike in some other such games, here you will be directed towards all (or at least most) of the important places that you need to upgrade and build, so it’s definitely the way to go.

So keep in mind: follow what the game asks you to do, and you will definitely keep on advancing continuously. Just keep following these and you will make all the necessary upgrades quickly.

Build and learn more about the Resource farms

Outside of the city walls, you will have several empty land plots where you can build your resource farms. There are 6 types of resource farms (how I like to call them), and here is what they are used for:

Farm: used to produce and hold Food.

Sawmill: used to produce and hold Wood.

Shooting Range: used to increase the number of soldiers you can recruit at once.

Medic Tent: used to house and heal the wounded soldiers.

Stone Mine: used to produce and hold Stone.

Iron Mine: used to produce and hold Iron.

I suggest that as soon as you start playing, you start by building as many Farms and Sawmills as you can, because they are going to come in handy quite a bit. Once you did this, start by building as many Shooting Ranges as you can, and one Medic Tent. There is really not much need for more, but you can build the maximum number also (if you have the empty slots).

Once you upgrade your Town Hall to level 10 you will be able to build the Stone Mine, and at Town Hall level 15, you will be able to build the Iron Mine. Make sure that by the time you reach levels 10 and 15, you will have the empty slots to build the maximum number of Stone and Iron Mines.

The sooner you build more resource farms, the faster they will start producing and you will have a safe and constant source of food, wood, iron and stone.

Unlock more plots of land for the resource farms

There are a few plots of land which are marked on the map with “For Sale” signs. You can unlock these lands by simply leveling up your Town Hall, and in order to actually unlock you will need to have the required resources that they each ask for.

Just save some Food and Wood because these are going to be the main resources needed to unlock these lands, and once you unlocked them, make sure that you build the resource farms on them.

Upgrade and build your buildings for free!

Whenever you are building a new structure, you will see that on top of it there will be a new icon with a “Free” text inscribed on it. Tap on that, and the game will instantly complete the building process.

I suggest that whenever you are building a new structure you complete the building for free, because that is the most effective way to upgrade your town quickly. Also, whenever you will have 5 minutes or less left to complete upgrading or building something, a “Free” button will pop up above that structure.

Make sure that you tap on it whenever it appears, because it will greatly shorten the timers.

Speed up the building process

All of your buildings will be able to be sped up when it comes to building and making upgrades. All that you need are speed ups, and trust me – you will get plenty of them. I suggest that you don’t waste your speed ups for low timers, but rather for the 30min + timers.

Let’s say that for example you have a building that you want to upgrade quickly and it will take 30 minutes total time. What you can do is use two 10 minute speed ups, and one 5 minute speed up. That way you will not waste a speed up from the 5 minute mark, when you can complete the building process up for free!

Claim the free Cargo rewards

In game there are a few rewards that you can claim for free every now and them for simply staying online in the game. One such reward can be found int he Cargo chest, which is located in front of the Town Hall (more precisely, in front of the Event tent which is in front of the Town Hall).

Make sure that you check the timers written there, and you check the clock, and if you want to close the game, come back and claim the reward once the timer reaches 0.

Join an active Alliance

Joining a good and active Alliance is a very important step in the game, because you can then benefit from a lot of free speed ups. Basically by joining an Alliance you can be part of something bigger, play with other people and help each other.

I suggest that you take your time and find a good and active Alliance, because even since early game when the construction timers aren’t that crazy, you will see a big difference. If that did not convince you, then how about 200 free Gold?

Once you join an Alliance for the very first time, you will receive 200 free Gold to use as you wish. Along with this free Gold, you will also receive an Alliance teleport to place your territory next to your Alliance team mates’. That way it will be less likely for your base to get attacked by other players!

So therefore, finding a good Alliance is very important, especially in the late game. If you manage to find a good active Alliance early on, stick with it, and do your best to offer help to your mates and be as active as you can to further improve the Alliance together.

Do your daily tasks and claim daily rewards

I suggest that you head on to the Salon immediately, because that’s where the business is in the Wild West. While in the Salon, when you tap on the “Daily Reward” you will see a table of tasks that you can complete every single day in order to collect points and claim various rewards for them.

I suggest that you take a look at all the requests there in the quests list, because they are not all that difficult, and for sure you can complete them every day. Once you finished every single quest there, you will be able to claim the last chest (360 points) which will give you some pretty good rewards (2000 Lord XP, 2 Materials Chest and 2 Healing Speed Ups).

Along with these, you will also receive other rewards for achieving certain milestones at 30, 80, 150, 210 and 270 points. All of these will give you cool rewards, so make sure that you do as many daily tasks as you can.

Log in every day to the game

Every single day that you will simply log in to the game you will be able to claim new rewards. Make sure that even if you don’t plan on playing the game that particular day, you just log in and claim these rewards because they will come in handy at another time when you will take your time and actually play.

Always be researching new skills

Researching is always going to be something that you should do, because it doesn’t actually require anything in particular, any builders or so, and it is just something that the game will do in the spare time.

Researching can be found in the Library building, and there you can choose between 5 fields:

– Resources

– Military

– Development

– City Defense

– Token

I suggest that you start with Development -> Architecture I, because that will speed up the construction speed of your structures. Once you developed as much as you could here, try researching Resources, because that will help you boost the production output.

Research Combined Harvester I and Steam Saw I, and once you did these, you are free to research whatever you feel like your town will need the most. Either way, just make sure that Development comes first, because that is where you will see the most output from.

Complete the Chapter tasks and claim Chapter rewards

In the main game interface you will see in the bottom left corner of the screen a cup with a red ribbon. Tap on that, and you will open a new window with some tasks. you can quickly teleport to complete the required task by tapping on the brown “Go” button which will take you to the target area.

Make sure you do these tasks if you are unsure what to do next, because they will reward you with free speed ups and they will definitely come in handy at any time in the game.

Gather from the World Map

If you are done with all of your tasks and quests in game and you are not sure what to do next, head on to the world map by tapping on the button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

There you can find a few farms and other resource building and head on there with your army to loot them for resources. This is an effective way to quickly gather more when you are in dire need of some more resources.

Recruit more fighters from the Barracks

In the Barracks you will see that you can not “train” the fighters, but instead you can “recruit” them. Make sure that you always have some fighters actively recruiting because the more you improve your little army, the more you will need.

It’s always a good idea to have more fighters, so by all means recruit as many as you can, of all kinds.

Don’t let your builders go idle

In the top left corner of the screen you will see two pickaxes which symbolize your workers. If there are little “Zzz”s then it means that your builders are idle. Do not let that happen, because it’s really a waste. Always make sure that you are upgrading buildings or building new ones, because some of these construction timers will take quite a lot.

So keep in mind: never let your builders go idle, but instead have them always upgrading or building something, because if you want a prosperous town, you will need to work non stop.

I have been playing games ever since I can remember. My passion for video games and especially pixel graphic games must have started back when I was little, because every time I try a new game with pixel graphics I immediately fall addicted to it! I started writing about mobile games in November 2018, focusing on creating in-depth guides for the most popular titles out there. Other than games, I am also passionate about design, and working on my very own pixel game in my free time.
