Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is the latest Final Fantasy series remaster to be released on Nintendo Switch and other consoles. In the past few months, Square Enix released remasters of previous entries in the series as well, including Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X and its sequel, and the unique Final Fantasy XII.
While the Nintendo Switch is not powerful enough to run Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix still provided Switch owners a way to experience Noctis’ journey with the release of Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, which is also available on iOS and Android worldwide.
Alongside the graphics enhancements, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered also features some gameplay boosts that can make the experience easier for newcomers, such as increased battle speed, the ability to restore HP on the fly and more.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is now available on Nintendo Switch as well as on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
