Call of Duty Mobile is going to be released on iOS and Android in just a few days. It’s been speculated that the Android version will not be as smooth as the iOS version due to the many different hardware configurations powered by Android, but it seems like this will not be the case, and the experience is going to be extremely smooth.
As reported by Pocketgamer.biz, Call of Duty Mobile will target between 57 to 60 frames per second on Android devices. This is made possible by the Vulkan API, which constant improvements will allow the game to run smoothly on most devices.
Call of Duty Mobile, despite being a mobile release, can be considered as a proper entry in the Call of Duty series, releasing with some fan-favorite modes and the promise that more will be coming in the near future.
At launch, the game will feature, among other play modes, a now obligatory Battle Royale mode, where 100 players will compete to see the best. Among the launch play modes will also be Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Gun Game, which are all staples of the series.
Call of Duty Mobile will be released worldwide on iOS and Android on October 1st.
