This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Mario Kart Tour is finally available in all regions on iOS and Android. While the game works well for the most part, there are still some issues that are plaguing it, and Nintendo is working to fix them in the very near future.

GoNintendo spotted some temporary update notes for the Mario Kart Tour 1.0.2 update. The update aims to fix several issues that crash the game as well as several quality of life improvements and more. You can check out the full notes by going here.

Mario Kart Tour has been released as a free to play title, but some features are currently locked behind a paywall. The game features a subscription service through the Golden Pass, which grants increased in-game rewards as well as access to the 200cc races.

At the time, there’s no way to unlock 200cc races without subscribing, which doesn’t sound good at all, considering the price of the subscription.

For considerably less, players can subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online service, which offers substantially more, just to make an example.

Mario Kart Tour has been released for only a week, so there’s a lot of tweaking and adjusting that Nintendo will be making to the experience in the coming days. Let’s hope things change and more content is made available to those who do not wish to subscribe.

Mario Kart Tour is now available on iOS and Android worldwide.
