The Witcher 3 Nintendo Switch Retail Copies Are Out In The Wild

The Witcher 3 finally launches on Nintendo Switch in around one week, but some lucky players have managed to get their hands on a retail copy of the game earlier.

Reddit user ConnerBartle recently shared a picture over on Reddit showing the retail copy of the game. Apparently, the street date has been broken by a couple of Walmart stores, so if you have one in the area, they may have started selling the game already. If not, it’s just one week wait.

The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch felt impossible, but CD Projekt RED and Saqber Interactive made the miracle happen. The development team did everything possible to make the game run decently on the console, and it seems like they have achieved it fully by making some cuts here and there.

The Nintendo Switch release of the popular RPG will include all of the game’s content, including the expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, on the cart. Considering the sheer amount of content included in the base game only, getting The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch is definitely a technological marvel that shows how everything is possible if one is willing to put some serious efforts into development.

The Witcher 3 launches on Nintendo Switch on October 25th. The game is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide.
