Daemon X Machina may not be the best Nintendo Switch game around, but it manages to scratch that mech action itch that many have and haven’t been able to scratch since From Software put the Armored Core series on hiatus to focus on the Souls series. While the game already packs a good amount of content, the development team added more with the game’s new update.
The Daemon X Machina 1.1 update introduces a new mode called Versus Mode. In this mode, players can battle locally or against other players in 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 options. Versus Mode also features Ranked Match, with set rules, and Custom Match, where players can set their own rules.
The Online co-op mode has also been improved with a new option. At any time during a mission, players can challenge other players to a duel by attacking them. Up to four players can take part in a single duel, and they are extremely fun and a way to let off some steam after completing any order.
The new Daemon X Machina update also packs a lot of different tweaks and fixes that will improve the experience considerably. You can find the full update notes by going here.
Daemon X Machina is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
