The SaGa series is far from being the most successful JRPG franchise developed by Square Enix, but it seems like the Japanese publisher is willing to give it another chance in the West, as it has been releasing older entries in the series on Nintendo Switch and other platforms.
The latest SaGa remaster is launching today on Nintendo Switch, and new footage has emerged online.
Romancing SaGa 3 HD can be seen running on Nintendo Switch in the video below. Being the remaster of a 16-bit era game, Romancing SaGa 3 HD has no trouble running nicely on the Nintendo console.
Romancing SaGa 3 HD includes not only optimized graphics but also a new dungeon to explore, new scenarios and a new game+ function. This will allow those who played and completed the original to find something new to enjoy in the new release.
For the rest, Romancing SaGa 3 HD plays exactly like the original, with its turn-based battle system, unique progression system, open game structure that allows players to explore almost all of the world from the very beginning of the game and much more.
Romancing SaGa 3 HD launches today on Nintendo Switch as well as on PC and other consoles.
