A new update is now live for Minecraft on Nintendo Switch, bringing more content to the sandbox game created by Mojang.
The new update is the Buzzy Bees update that has been released for the game’s Java version back in October. The update introduces bees to the game as well as related items like honey blocks, beehives and nests and more. The new items will allow players to be even more creative in their worlds.
In a total surprise move, surprising everyone, we have decided to bring bees into Minecraft. Surprise! Buzzy Bees is live and don’t let the title mislead you, there are so many other things with this update aside from bees. There are baby bees, honey blocks, beehives/nests, and Steve’s new catchphrase “block you later!” that you’ll be pleased to hear we’ve already patched out.
Minecraft has been going strong for years now, and things don’t seem to be slowing down for the series anytime soon. While the main development team is working on updates for the game, other developers are working on spin-off titles like the very interesting Minecraft Dungeons.
In Minecraft Dungeons, players will be able to explore a variety of dungeons using their character and customize it with a lot of different items. The game feels like the perfect blend between Minecraft and dungeon crawler games, so it will be very interesting to see how the game will actually play next April.
Minecraft is now available on Nintendo Switch as well as on all modern gaming platforms.
