Countersnipe

Multiplayer Focused Game Countersnipe Now Available On iOS, Android

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Back when the internet was relatively still young, and mobile phones didn’t feature games other than Snake and other simple puzzle games, the only way to kill some time while browsing was to play games developed in Flash. Among them, there were a lot of sniping games, where players had to find enemies and snipe them from afar. The games were simple, so not a whole lot of strategy was involved.

If this sounds right up your alley, you will definitely have to take a look at Countersnipe, which takes this concept and expands it in the right way.

Countersnipe is a multiplayer-focused sniping game that pits four players against one another, challenging them to be the first to snipe the other three. All players are spawned in select spots over the three currently available maps, and they will be able to fool the opponents by using environmental elements. Maps have a lot of different spawn points, so it will take some time to memorize them all.

To make sniping easier, Countersnipe features severalò different sniper rifles, divided into different tiers. All weapons can also be upgraded, so the more you play, the better you will be.

The game also features different characters, who can be leveled up by playing and winning matches. The leveling system is tied to matchmaking, as players will be matched with others of similar sniper and weapon levels.

Countersnipe is now available on the App Store and Google Play Store worldwide.
