R-Type Dimensions EX is a return to form with a shiny new coat of paint, as this game is actually a collection of the original R-Type and R-Type II. The games have been updated with smoother controls, beautiful graphics, and more.

Players will fight through the original 14 alien-infested stages, and you can even choose the graphics! You can choose from the classic 2D graphics or you can opt for the new 3D graphics that really show off the ships and enemies. You can do in on the fly with the push of a button!

The soundtrack has been rearranged for a new experience, but the gameplay at its core remains untouched. The original challenge is all there, but for new players or players who just want to blast the Bydo away, there is an optional mode that enables infinite continues.

R-Type Dimensions EX is available now on the App Store for 4.99 USD.
