The Crazy Taxi series is still today one of the most loved arcade series ever released, thanks to its unique combination of hectic action and over the top presentation. The series hasn’t received any new game in the past few years, with the exception of several ports that have been released pretty much on all gaming devices currently available. The older games are still as fun as ever but fans have been craving for more.
A few weeks back SEGA announced a new mobile exclusive game and today the company has finally delivered. Crazy Taxi: City Rush has been soft launched on the Canadian App Store. The gameplay experience is not too different from the previous games, with players having to drive clients to different spots of the city, but it’s been simplified with a one-touch based gameplay experience.
Since it’s been soft-launched, the game is still a work in progress affair right now so don’t worry if the game seems a little rough here and there. Apparently the version currently available for download is an older build of the game, which should be removed soon in favor of a more recent one.
Crazy Taxi: City Rush is now available as a free to play title on the Canadian App Store. We’ll keep you updated on the game’s final release date as soon as more news come in on the matter.
