Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ DLC expansion Cindered Shadows will introduce a new story campaign that is somewhat separate from the main game. It seems like, however, additional content for the main campaign will be unlocked by playing the DLC campaign.
Today, it has been confirmed that clearing the first episode of Cindered Shadows will allow players to travel to the Abyss in the main campaign. Other bonuses are also going to be unlocked, but they have yet to be detailed.
A new video introducing Hapi of the Ashen Wolves House has also been shared online today. You can find it right below.
Fire Emblem Three Houses Cindered Shadows will give players the chance to experience a brand new story focused on the new house, the Ashen Wolves. Players will be able to control characters from this new house as well as the heads of the three other houses – Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude – and one representative from each house – Linhardt, Ashe and Hilda.
The DLC expansion will not use save data from the main campaign, so players won’t be able to take advantage of all the customization they may have done for these characters during the main story.
Fire Emblem Three Houses is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide. The Cindered Shadows DLC will release as part of the Expansion Pass next month, on February 13th.
