Today, Touch Tap Play will go over one of the potential careers in BitLife: criminal justice! There are many different job opportunities to pick from in this field, but the one we will be looking at in particular is detective work. Here is our guide on how to become a detective in Bitlife!

Be a Good Student

In order to get any of the higher end careers in BitLife, you will need to make sure you are a good student during the early years of your life. You need to get through grade school and high school without any major hiccups.

This means that you should be good to parents, have integrity during school (do not let your friends cheat on tests, or do anything to get you in trouble), and most importantly do not skip school.

You need your smarts up as high as possible by the time you get to college, as this affects your choice of major.

(This BitLife guide was first published on Touch Tap Play)

Pass your Driving Exam

Around the end of your high school years, you will be prompted to take your driving test. You should always take it when you get the chance, as a lot of jobs will be locked to you if you do not have your license.

You will be presented with a random road sign, and you will need to correctly identify it. Getting it right will reward you with your drivers license, while getting it wrong will fail the test. Be sure to look up the sign if you are unsure of what it means.

Be careful – you only have one shot at this! If you fail the test, you will not be able to get your drivers license for the remainder of that life.

Choose the Appropriate Major

With your drivers license and high school diploma in hand, you will soon start college. When you apply to a university, the game will ask what kind of major you will want. The higher your smarts, the bigger your selection here.

You will want to choose the “criminal justice” major here. If you choose anything else you may not be able to get the career you want. If you do not see criminal justice on the list, your smarts may not be high enough or you just might be unlucky.

Now that you have chosen the right major, you simply have to do well in college. Do not skip class but make sure to take care of yourself and keep your needs up.

Go for the Job

Once you finish university you can start applying for jobs. You should do so as soon as possible, especially if you took a loan out to pay for your tuition fees.

Browse the job listing and look for any of the following jobs:

  • Jr. Detective
  • Jr. Private Investigator

Because of your university background, you should be able to land an interview with these jobs. If one does not work, try the other – usually the detective job requires 10 years of experience as a private investigator.

Enjoy your Crime Fighting Life

If you have done everything right up to this point, then you should now be a detective! Detective is a very well paying job and you should be able to ride out the rest of your life as one.

If something did not go as planned during your life, just start a new life and try again. Remember that despite the decisions you make throughout your life, BitLife is just like real life in the sense that anything can happen. A lot of factors are completely random, so just keep trying.

And that wraps up our guide on how to become a detective in BitLife. We will be back with other guides on the game, so stick around!
