Where to mine crystal chunks in Genshin Impact?
In Genshin Impact, Crystal chunks are one of the rare minerals required for upgrades and crafting. Crystal chunks are generally located near caves, mines and mountainous terrains. The game has two major locations where players can find a lot of crystal chunks at one place. The two locations we are talking about are the Stormterror’s Lair and the area near Qingyun’s Peak.
Genshin Impact: Mining crystal chunks at Stormterror’s Lair
The Stormterror’s Lair in Genshin Impact provides a large deposit of crystal chunks. Players can easily mine 20+ crystal chunks each day at Stormterror’s lair. However, this area can only be unlocked by completing a certain Archon quest(story quest). Crystal chunks are required in the later part of the game. So, most of the players already have Stormterror’s lair unlocked. But, for new player looking for mining crystal chunks check out the other locations mentioned below.
There are some crystal chunks that are located around the Mondstadt region(starting region) of Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact: Mining crystal chunks near Qingyun’s Peak
Qingyun’s Peak is a location in Genshin Impact located at the west-most part of the world map. It is yet another location in the game which offers a high number of crystal chunks located around the area. In Genshin Impact, different areas in the world map can be made visible by praying at a “Statue of the Seven“. So, make sure you unlock Qingyun’s Peak area by praying at the “Statue of the Seven” located near that area.
How to get more than 50+ crystal chunks in Genshin Impact at one location in less than 30 minutes?
There is a hidden location in Genshin Impact near “Dawn Winery and Dragonspine” that we personally use for farming crystal chunks. Players can find a hidden cave at the location marked with “Pickaxe” in the above map.
The cave has an exquisite chest along with the crystal chunks that you can get after defeating some slimes.
As you can see in the above screenshot, we have around 4 to 5 crystal chunks at a single place. Moreover, players can join different co-op sessions and travel to this location to farm more crystals. Leave the co-op session once you have mined the crystal chunks and join another session. Follow these steps and you can mine more than 50+ crystal chunks in less than an hour.
