This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

In today’s article I will give you all the Atlantis Odyssey tips and tricks that you need to advance in the game, and to help you explore are the secrets Atlantis has to offer. This alluring game not only starts off strong, with a plane crash that places you in the game’s universe, but also features some super exciting adventures and interactions.

From saving a girl stuck inside a mythical crystal to fixing the plane and much more, you will definitely have a great time in this adventure-driven game. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the Atlantis Odyssey guide!

Focus on Your Tasks

In the bottom left corner of the screen you will have your To Do List. That is the equivalent of the “main storyline” or “quests” in every other game. I suggest that you follow these quests once you start playing, because they will help you unlock some more characters and give you an idea of how the game works.

Basically, if you focus on the tasks early on, you can complete them faster because you won’t waste Energy on other activities.

Later on, when you will unlock multiple missions, you should consider prioritizing the ones with the biggest reward. I would say that it’s easier that way because the rewards will make up for a big part of the resources you spent.

Always Pick the Easiest Route

If you want to conserve Energy, you can easily do so by trying to figure out the easiest route to your destination. Sometimes to get from point A to point B you need to check out multiple routes and decide which one is the best. You can do that by counting how much Energy it would take in total, and whether or not there is another way you could take to reach that area.

Accept Occasional Gifts

Sometimes you will receive a gift box, in the bottom right corner of the screen. Whenever you see one, make sure you accept it because it will contain dynamite or other useful items that will make the game easier to complete. You should always keep an eye on any possible freebies you can get your hands on, because they’ll make quite a difference.

Tap on Amphoras, Barrels and Boxes

As you clear the map, you will notice quite a lot of items such as amphoras, boxes, barrels and seashells. They are all lootable items, so if you tap on them you will receive a random reward. They are also a decent source of EXP and Energy, so they’ll help you in that department as well.

One thing you should keep in mind, though, is that the seashells will respawn over time. Every day or every other day a new seashell or two will spawn again on the shore, so make sure that you check back often.

Get Double the Online Rewards

The game offers some online rewards, for simply staying online in the game (you don’t even have to do anything, just keep the game open). These rewards can be claimed every 5 minutes, and if you watch an ad, you will receive double rewards. I suggest that you watch an ad to double at least the last reward because that one will give you some better seeds to plant in the garden for free. Also, this is a quick way to get some free Energy!

Complete the Orders

A very quick way to gain EXP, Coins, and other rewards would be to complete as many orders as possible. The requests from Franco are fairly simple at the start, and you will gain a lot of EXP (100+) per mission. The ones from Amanda are also quite easy, but you cannot complete that many until you reach level 8 at least and unlock the second slot.

I suggest that you always try to keep an eye on these missions and the items they request, because that way you’ll know exactly what items to make, how many and so on.

My suggestion here:

I believe you should always check which missions have the best rewards, and start by completing them. For instance, you see 2 missions at Franco:

– a mission that requires 1 Crushed Stone and 6 Grass (quite simple to obtain) but it only gives 86 EXP and 85 Coins, and
– a mission that requires 3 Crushed Stone and 2 Sawdust, but gives 238 EXP, 142 Coins, and other rewards.

The mission you should prioritize is the one with the better rewards. All you need to do is start preparing for it, and in the meantime, if you can work on the other missions, that’s ideal.

As for the missions from Amanda, I didn’t personally bother too much with them (yet) because I haven’t had issues with the Energy.

Think Ahead When Picking Tomorrow’s Gift

The items you can choose from at Robert are quite important too, because they can help you out quite a bit. Basically you choose one item every day, to receive the following day. The items you can choose from are:

– 500 Coins
– 15 Energy
– 10 Wood
– Surprise Gift (something random, from Stones to Gems)

If you’re doing OK Energy-wise, and have enough Coins to purchase all the farm land that you need, I suggest that you go for the Surprise gift. Otherwise, you should get the Energy or Coins (you get them guaranteed, it’s not a lotto like with the Surprise gift).

Plan Ahead and Gather Extra Resources

A lot of requests/quests will require plenty of materials, so you should always try to collect extra when possible. Doing so will help you complete the requests much faster, and you will greatly reduce the time you need to craft something if you already have the materials for it.

So, I suggest that you always stock up some extra items, and farm additional resources when you are not busy completing the tasks.

My tip:

If you are about to close the game, and your Energy bar is still full (or you have extra Energy left), then I suggest that you spend all of it on collecting or farming as many items as you can. Take the time to clear out some bushes around your camp, or uncover a forested area.

You can try to do this even if you don’t need the items right away because eventually, you’ll need them. But if you want to progress quicker in the game, keep in mind to not close the game when you are on full Energy because it will be wasted time. If you spend the energy, you can use the time you are offline to refill that Energy.

Keep Your Farms Busy

Farming is a very important part of the game, because it will give you resources, and help you complete missions. You start off with 6 farm plots, but at level 7 you will unlock the Shop where you can buy additional Farm plots for 300 Coins. Buy the 2 available right away, and expand your little crop area.

The best thing you should do is to always keep the farms busy – at all times! Also, you don’t need to plant expensive stuff, such as potatoes or pineapples. Plant a few of these to have extra in your bag, and otherwise stick to Flax or Corn (preferably Corn). Just make sure that you always have something going on in the garden.

Organize and Decorate the Camp

A very important part of having a successful camp is to decorate it and organize it according to your wants. You can move the buildings at level 7, by tapping and holding them. The buildings you can move are the camps, the facilities, garden, and of course, the walls.

I suggest that you organize them in such a way that you can gain access to them fairly easy and you don’t have to move 5 screens away to go from one to another. In essence, I believe you should keep them quite close to each other.

Hide the Buildings

If you have a difficult time clearing out the camp, and you want to see only the bushes, rocks and grass, you can choose to hide the buildings. Tap on the Tree button underneath the level bar in the upper side of the screen, and you can hide all the buildings and big trees, and see only the bottom part.

Save Up Resources to Unlock the Third Production Slot

When you unlock the production buildings (Quarry, Foundry, Sawmill) you will only have two slots available. I suggest that you save up resources to unlock the third one, especially for the buildings that take a very long time to produce (the Foundry). It is quite a big investment at start, but it’s going to help you A LOT.

Log In Every Day

I suggest that you log onto the game every day, even for just a couple of minutes. You have daily rewards that you can receive every day, and you should take advantage of them because they’re quite good. On the 20th day you will get something special, so make sure that you claim them daily.

Also, if you log in once a day and just clear the camp a little bit to spend your Energy, it’s still very good progress.
