With this exclusive partnership, PUBG Mobile players will get a chance to play a brand new game mode called Metro Royale, which is totally based on a new concept. Moreover, the officials have also provided a Survival Guide on their official website for the Metro Royale mode.

For those who don’t know, Tencent Games is also testing the upcoming 1.1 update in PUBG Mobile beta servers, which initially brought Metro Royale mode. Since it is a part of beta testing, players can also expect the release of the PUBG Mobile 1.1 update on the same day.

As per the 1.1 beta patch notes, the game mode will bring two new maps and a new loadout system to the game. Like other multiplayer games, players would now be able to select the weapon loadout before starting the match.

In addition to this, a new Automatic Sniper Rifle called the Tikhar Rifle is also coming in PUBG Mobile, which will deal with greater damage by utilizing a higher air pressure, gaining full power when the air pressure is filled up. Here’s the teaser of the Tikhar Rifle weapon.

And Metro Royale is not all about the new weapon. For the challenging part, two new classic mutants or monsters – Watchmen and Librarian will also be added to PUBG Mobile’s new gameplay.

The Watchmen will always appear in a pack, and when enemies are spotted, they will growl to summon their companions to attack you. To get past the Watchmen, you will want to eliminate one instantly with a suppressor weapon before it summons its pack, or you might get in trouble. Here’s how the Watchmen will look like:

Whereas, Librarian is a strong monster with an extremely high attack and HP, who definitely is an opponent you do not want to cross path with. However, the Librarian will not attack you when you stare into its eyes and only strike when your back is facing it. Here’s the gameplay of Librarian mutant:

In the end, we also have a brand new environment in which Erangel has undergone a significant change, and the list of new features is not over yet. There are many more exciting additions to discover in the upcoming update.
