Minecraft Dungeons is a very fun dungeon crawler game, but the adventure becomes more fun when you can share it with other players in the game’s co-op mode.
For now, only players enjoying the game on the same platform can play it together, but this is going to change very soon in just a few days.
On November 17, Minecraft Dungeons will receive a new update that will introduce support for cross-platform multiplayer, meaning that Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be able to enjoy the game together in its online modes. Cross-save sadly is still not a thing, so you will have to start over if you purchase the game on another platform.
It’s not yet clear if anything else will be added to the game in the coming update, but we will surely hear more about the matter as we get closer to the release date.
Minecraft Dungeons is getting expanded in the future with a new DLC, the Howling Peaks DLC. This DLC will introduce new locations, items, enemies, and more that will make Minecraft Dungeons an even better experience.
Minecraft Dungeons is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide. The game is also out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
