The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is among the most anticipated games currently in development for Nintendo Switch, despite Nintendo having showed very little of the game so far. The game is obviously alive and well, and it seems like we will finally get it in our hands in 2021.
Well-known Nintendo insider Emily Rogers revealed that the game may release around the holidays 2021, meaning that the game could release between September and December 2021.
November is usually reserved by Nintendo for its biggest release of the year, so it’s likely that we will see The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 in November 2021, if the latest report is correct.
If you really cannot wait for another year to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, and you’re open to a slightly more different experience, you should definitely take a look at Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. While the game is more of a hack and slash experience than a traditional Zelda experience, Age of Calamity incorporates many elements seen in Breath of the Wild in a very creative way.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will release on a yet to be confirmed release date on Nintendo Switch.
