Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon Launches On Apple Arcade On January 8th

The Oceanhorn series is rightly considered as one of the best mobile gaming series ever, and for good reasons. While the Zelda series influence continues to be strong, the unique twists brought about by the series make the two Oceanhorn games titles that are worth experiencing.

Hot on the trail of the Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm release a few months back, developer Cornfox announced Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, a new spin-off game that releases next month on the Apple Arcade service.

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon will play differently from the previous two entries in the series. Set after Oceanhorn 2, players will have to explore a variety of dungeons in a top-down view filled with enemies to defeat and puzzles to complete. The game has a very old-school feel that reminds of Zelda: A Link to the Past and other similar games.

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon will not be a nostalgia-infused experience alone, as Cornfox added local co-op mechanics for up to four players and some roguelite mechanics that will make the game easy to pick up but harder to master.
