Where To Find Buddy Handler Iori In Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise is a rather complex game, especially if you have never played an entry in the series, but the new game does its very best to ease you into the experience with the very first few quests.

At some point, you will be asked to find the Buddy Handler Iori to continue progressing in the game. He is located in an area you haven’t been to yet, so it may be difficult to find him if you haven’t been paying attention to your surroundings.

Where To Find Buddy Handler Iori In Monster Hunter Rise

Buddy Handler Iori can be found in the Buddy Plaza at the top of Kamura Village. To reach this new area, you need to head past the bridge located right past Senior Hunter Hanenaga, the hunter who gives you the Great Wirebugs.

Once you have moved past the bridge, you will reach Buddy Plaza, where you will find Iori. He located exactly to the right as you enter the new area.

Talking with Buddy Handler Iori isn’t just required to progress the campaign, as you can use his services to recruit more Palicos and Palamutes. You can recruit a total of 21 new Palicos and Palamutes by talking with Iori, rename them and search for Palicos and Palamutes with certain attributes.
