Subverse supports two types of game save features, auto-save and manual save. Most of the Subverse players are worried about how to save game because, in the beginning, they are not allowed to do a manual save. If you try to save the game manually via the main menu’s save button, you will get the message saying – you can’t save manually in this particular area.

However, you don’t have to worry about that, as Subverse auto-saves the game every now and then.

Furthermore, later on in Subverse, when players unlock combat sequences and have progressed a decent bit, they can do manual saves. It’s just manual save in the game is available at a later point. So, do not worry about losing your game progress as the auto-save feature in Subverse works completely fine.
