How to Get a Magma Stone
In Terraria, players can get Magma Stone from Lava Bats and Hell Bats. Both the bat-type enemies drop coins and magma stones in Terraria with different drop rates.
The Lava Bats have a 2% chance to drop Magma Stone in Terraria. Meanwhile, the Hellbats have a 0.67% chance for the same. Luckily, both Lava and Hell bats are found in The Underworld area. So, you don’t have to look for them at a different location.

Lava Bats are enemies that appear in the Underworld area only when a mechanical boss is defeated. There are three bosses at the moment that are referred to as mechanical bosses –
- The Destroyer
- The Twins and
- Skeleton Prime
