The new update, which is now available for download on iOS, introduces two new cars, the Renault Alpine and the Lykan Hypersport as well as a new play mode called Joyride mode, which allows players to race freely.

Asphalt Overdrive is a spin-off of the main Asphalt series, featuring a slightly different gameplay experience. Instead of racing against others, in Asphalt Overdrive players have to escape the police in an endless runner-like experience. The game comes with many features that are now staples of endless runner games like multiple cars, upgrades, mission types and more, offering a solid, albeit not too original, gameplay experience that’s more than good to keep gamers entertained for a few minutes.

Asphalt Overdrive is now available for download on the App Store. The game is a free to play title supported by IAPs, like several other games published by Gameloft. If you want to learn more about the game, you can check out our Asphalt Overdrive Cheats: Tips, Tricks & Strategy Guide.
