The Sniper Scope in Terraria is an accessory added in version 1.2.1.2. It works in a similar way to a Rifle scope, which means it will apply a zoom effect like a sniper rifle, but it also increases the critical hit chance and ranged damage by 10%. Works with weapons that use bullets for ammunition, including the sniper rifle itself. In this guide, we will show you how to get a sniper scope in Terraria.
How to Craft a Sniper Scope in Terraria
To create a sniper scope, you need to use the Tinkerer’s Workshop. To craft, you need 1 Rifle Scope and 1 Destroyer Emblem.
Rifle Scope can be gotten from the Skeleton Sniper in the Dungeon with an 8.33% chance (12.5% in Expert Mode). You can also equip it in the accessory slot, then select a firearm and right-click to zoom in.

And you also have to craft the Destroyer Emblem at the Tinkerer’s Workshop. For it, you need 1 Avenger Emblem and 1 Eye of the Golem. When equipping this item, all damage done by the player is increased by 10%, and the critical strike chance of all weapons is increased by 8%.
When you get all the items you need, just walk up to the Tinkerer’s Workshop and create a scope.

Sniper Scope Tips
It is also worth noting that if you are a shooter and use a sniper scope, then it should be borne in mind that the effect of interior items that regenerate health (Bonfire and Heart Lamp) will stop if, when using the scope, these items go off the edge of the screen. Therefore, you should either place them close to the character or put them on both sides at a distance from him.
