In this article, we will talk about how exactly you can make a Furnace in Terraria.
How to Make a Furnace
Making a Furnace in Terraria is relatively easier than making any other crafting station. Players can craft a Furnace using the following items –
- Stone Block X 20
- Any Wood X 4
- Torch X 3
Once you have the above materials, go to a workbench crafting station to craft yourself a Furnance.
Where to Get Stone Blocks
In Terraria, the best location to look for Stone Blocks is the Underground or the Cavern layers.
Where to Get Wood
Players can cut down trees using an Axe or Chainsaw to get wood. Thankfully, for making the Furnace, you can use any type of wood. So, irrelevant of the tree type, just cut down any tree you encounter to get its wood.

Where to Get Torch
Players can get the Torch from the Merchant or Skeleton Merchant NPCs. If you are not fond of spending a low amount on buying a torch or finding the said NPCs then try opening random chests and pots, you always have a chance to get a torch from them. Sometimes, killing Slimes also drops the torch item.
