How to Get a Moss Block

There are a few different ways through which Minecraft players can get Moss Block. The first option is to mine Moss blocks found in the Lush Caves biome, added with the Caves and Cliffs update. To mine Moss Blocks, you can use any tool or your bare hands—anything is fine. However, if you want to mine the Moss Blocks a little faster, we recommend using a Hoe.

Alternatively, players can also buy Moss Blocks from the Wandering Trader. He will sell you two Moss Blocks for one emerald.

You can also use the bought Moss Blocks to create more Moss Blocks using Bone Meal. Here is a list of blocks in Minecraft that, when placed near the Moss Block, using Bone Meal on the Moss Block will allow moss to grow over them. This will create more Moss Blocks for free.
