The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD features a big selection of side quests that reward players with Gratitude Crystals that can be exchanged for a variety of items upon completion. Among these side quests, a few ones can be considered special, as they can have a different outcome, depending on your choices.

Here’s how to complete one of these side quests, the Item Check Rush side quest.

How to Complete the Item Check Rush Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

The Item Check Rush side quest becomes available right after finding Kukiel. At this point in the story, if you speak with Peatrice, the woman at the Item Check, she should start calling you darling. Once she does, you can start the side quest.

Once Peatrice called Link darling at least once, you have to go to her house at night and talk to Peater, who will reveal what is really going on with Peatrice. If he doesn’t, talk with him at night multiple times.

After learning the truth, talk with Peatrice in the morning. She will ask you to go to her house at night, which you will have to do to move the side quest forward. At this point, you can either confess to Peatrice by saying that you like her and picking the right option multiple times or you can break off with her by picking the You store items option and then the left option multiple times. No matter how the quest ends, you will be rewarded with 5 Gratitude Crystals.
