The new update, which is available for download right now, comes with some characters obviously inspired by  Chinese Zodiac signs, like the Fortune Chicken, which can be unlocked for free for a limited time and the dragon XI. Using these characters in the game will also add some neat graphical effects during the game as well as some unique items which  can be used to unlock a third secret new character which hasn’t been detailed.

Crossy Road has received plenty of updates since its release last November. The last update before the new one has been released last month, introducing some new characters as well as MFi controllers support.

Crossy Road is now available for download for free on the App Store. The game comes with some IAPs but they are in no way required to enjoy the game, as the extra characters can all be unlocked by simply playing the game.
