How to Get Glider in Lego Fortnite

The randomly generated worlds in Lego Fortnite can be absolutely massive, so traversal tools like the Glider can be very helpful for getting around quicker. Here’s how to get the Glider in Lego Fortnite.

Unlocking and Getting the Glider in Lego Fortnite

The Glider is a tool item that lets you glide across large distances. To unlock the Glider crafting recipe, you’ll need at least a level 3 Crafting Bench and a Loom built. Once you have those, the Glider recipe should show up at the Crafting Bench, under the tools category. The Glider requires:

• Flexwood Rod x 8
• Wool Fabric x 4
• Silk Fabric x 6

Where to get Flexwood Rods

Flexwood is obtained by chopping down the cacti located within Dry Valley biomes. You’ll know you’re in one when the map gets a brown coloring.

You’ll need a Rare Forest Axe to cut down the cacti, which requires Cut Amber and Knotroot Rods. Run the Flexwood through the Lumber Mill to create Flexwood Rods.

You can get Knotroot inside of caves, and Rough Amber is mined from the shiny yellow ore nodes found in Dry Valley. You can usually find them around rock formations and spires, so search there. Rough Amber requires at least an Uncommon Pickaxe to mine successfully.

Run the Rough Amber through your Gem Cutter to get Cut Amber. If you don’t have to recipe for the Gem Cutter yet, keep advancing your village level.

Where to get Wool & Silk Fabric

Both Wool and Silk Fabric can be crafted with the Loom. To craft the Fabrics, you need:

• Wool Thread x 5 = Wool Fabric
• Silk Thread x 5 = Silk Fabric

Wool is dropped by the fluffy sheep that roam the Grasslands. Just wander around the Grasslands until you find some—they usually come in groups of three.

Silk is commonly dropped by those tiny black spiders that you can find anywhere. These guys charge you whenever you get close, so you should have no trouble finding them.

You can now craft the Glider! Once you make it, be sure to equip it in your equipment slot marked with the up arrow. When you’re in the air, press the jump button to deploy it and glide around to your heart’s content.
