LEGO’s collaboration with Fortnite has given birth to an amazing Minecraft-esque experience, featuring excellent survival gameplay alongside a wide and beautiful sandbox world made with Unreal Engine 5. Like any survival game, dying is a common experience in LEGO Fortnite’s survival mode.
The world is sprawling with dangers, like hidden enemies, warm temperatures, cold areas, hunger, and more. Unless playing it carefully, players should be prepared to die many times. Luckily, developers have included a respawn point feature, allowing you to spawn back wherever you want. Here’s how you can set a respawn point in LEGO Fortnite.
LEGO Fortnite Guide: How to Set a Respawn Point
To set a respawn point in LEGO Fortnite, all you have to do is build a bed. Building a bed is quite easy, as you only need to collect 10 pieces of Wood. Players can discover Wood everywhere in the Grasslands.
If you are new to the game, collecting Wood by picking up branches from the ground will be the best way to go. However, I suggest crafting an axe to make the whole process faster, as you will be able to chop down trees and get lots of Wood easily.
Once you have collected enough Wood, go into build mode and place a bed on the ground. It is suggested to place your bed in a safe place, or you might have to fight monsters right after respawning. After placing it, walk to the bed and interact with it to set the respawn point.
After you’ve chosen the bed for yourself, your respawn point is good to go. Just be cautious when picking beds because you might accidentally give them to NPCs in LEGO Fortnite.
When a player has their respawn point set, dying will always spawn them back to their bed. Players can carry extra wood while exploring dangerous areas like caves and build a bed to respawn nearby if they die. After spawning, players can rush towards their backpack to collect all items.
