Yes, Granblue Fantasy Relink is getting a PS4 release, which means players will be able to play the game on launch on Sony’s previous generation of consoles, the PS4 and PS4 Pro models. 

While the PS5 version of Granblue Fantasy Relink offers Performance and Quality game modes, the first one offers stable 60 FPS at 1080p resolution, with the latter focusing more on fidelity, being locked at 30 FPS at 4k resolution—the PS4 version of the game has only one mode, which is 30 FPS at 1080p.

If you are one of the players who have been eagerly waiting to try out Granblue Fantasy Relink but only own the PS4 or PS4 Pro models, we recommend you to try out the beta currently available exclusively on the PlayStation platform. 

In case you didn’t know, completing the beta will reward you with in-game items that you can claim in the full version of the game. Moreover, you can also try out the game and see whether you are ok with 1080p 30 FPS. 

While we haven’t tested the game on a PS4, “thanks to my dusty PS4 Slim in the storeroom that I haven’t powered on for years, we did play the beta on the PS5, completing everything it had to offer in both Performance and Quality game modes, and both worked like a charm.
