Tired of selling items and pals to accumulate gold in Palworld? Luckily for you, this guide shares a simple method for automatically farming gold in Palworld.
In Palworld, gold serves as currency for purchasing a variety of resources and pals from merchants scattered across the Palpagos Islands. However, there are not many effective ways to farm gold. When you are new to the game, you can amass a considerable amount of gold by opening chests and engaging in battles with NPC enemies. Yet, this may not be everyone’s preferred approach, as it involves exploration and searching for enemy camps. Instead, consider using a straightforward gold farming design utilizing a ranch in Palworld.
Palworld: Gold Farm using Ranch
As you progress in Palworld, you will unlock various building recipes and must construct them to upgrade your base level. One such building is the ranch, which proves to be one of the most useful structures in Palworld. In Palworld, every pal comes with work traits that determine the kind of job they can perform in your base. Players can use pals with the Gold Digger skill to automatically farm gold coins at a ranch.
As of now, there are only two pals with Gold Digger as their partner skill – Mau and her ice variant Mau Cryst. Unfortunately, Mau is quite challenging to come by, and the best place to find them is in dungeons. Players can encounter Mau roaming in random dungeons or face them as a boss in these dungeons.
Once you have captured a Mau, build a ranch in your base. If you haven’t unlocked the ranch yet, increase your level to 5 and gather 20 stones, 30 fiber, and 50 wood to construct a ranch. Now, release your Mau into the base and observe her grazing in the ranch. Periodically, she will unearth pouches of gold. That’s it! You now have an automatic gold farm in Palworld.
You can set up multiple ranches and capture more Mau pals to create more gold farms. While you are here, check out our gold guide to find quick and easy strategies to make gold in Palworld.
