To get a trait, all you need to do is meditate on any meditation mat, and then use a spin to get a random trait. You can earn free spins by redeeming prize codes released by the developer.

In general, Prodigy and Deadly are both universally great traits to have, whereas the other ones are mostly situational, so you’ll need to find the one that best suits your play style. Just be careful not to get any of the C-tier traits, as these are all negative traits that actively hinder you.

• Poor: Quests give less yuan.
• Prodigy: Increased gain for all stats.
• Rich: Lose less yuan when gripped or jailed.
• Slow: Movement speed decreased by 20%.
• Smart: Increased wisdom gain.
• Strong: Increased durability gain.
• Talented: Increased vitality gain.
• Unlucky: 15% chance for quests to give less yuan.
• Weak: 10% less primary attack damage.
