The new update, which is currently available in all regions, adds a local multiplayer mode to the game, which allows players to race with others who are on the same Wi-Fi network. In order to set up races comfortably, the new update also includes a new Party Mode.

Today’s Angry Birds GO! multiplayer update is the second update released for the game introducing multiplayer modes. Another update released last year for the game added online multiplayer modes, which allowed players to race against other Facebook friends. The multiplayer modes of the game do manage to improve the experience slightly, an experience that’s overall damaged by the free to play features making the game way too much grindy.

Angry Birds GO! is now available for download for free on the App Store. The new update is also available for download right now in all regions. You can learn more about this Angry Birds series spin-off game by reading out own review.
