PUBG: New State, the latest battle royale title from Krafton, has plenty of online servers. In order to deliver the lowest latency and best experience, the game by default connects you to the nearest server. Yet, there could be many reasons to play the PUBG: New State on a different server.
Fortunately, PUBG: New State players can easily change the in-game server, thanks to Krafton’s server switch feature. If you’re also having a hard time while changing server in PUBG: New State, here’s a comprehensive guide that explains the same in easy steps.
Everything about changing server in PUBG: New State
There are mainly two ways to change servers in PUBG: New State. Players can either switch to a different region from the map selection menu or head to the game settings. These are the steps that you need to follow:
- Open PUBG New State and login to your account.
- Navigate to the Settings or Map selection menu.
- Scroll down and locate the Select Server option in the Basic tab.
- Tap the Change option and select the server/region you want to choose.
- Hit the Confirm button and reboot the game.
Unlike PUBG Mobile, players can hop between different PUBG: New State servers without any cooldown. However, that’s not the same as the case with PUBG Mobile, as the game locks the region for 60 days after changing the server.
But once again, we highly recommend the gamers to play on the nearest server to avoid network lag. Meanwhile, if you team up with a player from a different region, the game will allocate the best server to play on.
